Hand and Wrist

To access most of our community services at present you will need to be referred through your GP.  However if you are experiencing symptoms in your hand or wrist and you feel you could benefit from speak to one of our expert clinicians then you can self-refer into the service through the link below.  Once you have completed you application your referral will be looked at within two working days by a senior clinician. On the basis of the information you have given us we will either phone you or contact you by letter to arrange an initial telephone consultation or to invite you for an appointment.

You can self-refer if you are registered with a GP practice in Crawley, Horsham, Mid Sussex or Brighton and Hove.

You will have heard from us within 4 weeks, but usually well before this time. Physiotherapy

If you are registered with an East Grinstead, Horsham, Crawley or Mid Sussex GP practice you can now self-refer into physiotherapy department at Queen Victoria Hospital, Princess Royal Hospital – Haywards Heath, Crawley Hospital or Horsham Hospital. If you belong to one of these surgeries you can self-refer yourself to physiotherapy through an online form or by picking up a paper referral form from your GP practice or physiotherapy department.

If you are registered with a Brighton and Hove GP we are rolling out self-referral across the city over the coming months. At present if you belong to these practices you can self-refer to physiotherapy now

If you do not belong to one of these practices, please see your GP to be referred. Please be assured that whether your GP refers you or you self-refer, all referrals are treated in exactly the same manner.
