What is the MSK Podiatry Specialist Hub?
This appointment will be different to what you might expect:
- You will have access to multiple healthcare professionals in this appointment to discuss your care in detail, saving you from needing to wait for multiple appointments.
- You will have as long as you need with the clinician(s) you need to see, there is no end time to your appointment.
- There will be other patients seen at the same time as you, but we have designed the event to ensure your privacy.
If you cannot make this appointment please contact us. If you no longer need an appointment, or we do not hear from you, you will be discharged.
How long will it take?
We expect appointments to take 20-40 minutes. Some people may take longer depending on how many clinicians they see.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please try and avoid arriving early. There may be a short wait to see your first clinician as we give each patient as long as they need.

We run our Podiatry hubs from 2 locations, Sidney West Medical Centre in Burgess Hill and Crawley Hospital. The booking link will show which location you have been invited to:

How Do I Get There?
The Primary Care Centre lies on Leylands Road just off the B2036. The MSK Service is located on the first floor.
As you enter the building turn to your left (before you go through the 2nd set of double doors) and go up the stairs or take the lift to the 1st floor.
Public Transport
The Sidney West Centre is within half a mile of Wivelsfield Railway Station, and just under a mile from Burgess Hill Railway Station. Burgess Hill station has a taxi rank on site. Wivelsfield station does not.
The 35A and 35C buses stop outside the centre. Both bus routes also stop at Wivelsfield & Burgess Hill stations. Full bus timetables and routes can be found here:

How Do I Get There?
The Hospital is located in the centre of the town, very close to the ASDA supermarket. The hospital is roughly 15 minutes walk from the train station and County Mall Shopping Centre.
Our clinics are held on the ground floor in the Red Wing.
Parking is very limited at Crawley Hospital and often full by 9am. There are paid car parking spaces just outside the hospital, along West Green Drive. There is also a multi-storey car park (Orchard Street) on Peglar Way a few minutes walk up the road towards ASDA.
There is a ramp to the front door, disabled toilets and a lift that reaches all levels.
Public Transport
Route 1 (for West Green Drive entrance) – serving Broadfield, Southgate, Crawley town Centre, Gossops Green and Bewbush.
Route 2 (for West Green Drive entrance) – serving Tilgate, Furnace Green, Crawley Town Centre, Ifield and Ifield West.
Routes 526 & 527 (for Ifield Road entrance) – serving Charlwood, Horley, Smallfield and Crawley town Centre
How Do I Book my Place?
You can book yourself in using the link on your text message. You may need to use the 2nd drop down option to see the Specialist Hub (as below).
Appointments will be bookable from 8.30am with the last appointment slot starting at 3.45pm.
What Will Happen When I am There?
Upon arrival, you will be called for an assessment by one of our experienced clinicians. If any treatment is deemed necessary during your assessment, it will be planned on the same day.
If further investigations are required, we will arrange them promptly to ensure a full understanding of your condition.
Our multi-disciplinary team will be will be on site to support any conversations about your care.
