Our new Pelvic Health Module is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to manage your symptoms and live a healthier life.

This module covers:

  • Female bladder & bowel health (including incontinence)
  • Cis-female biology & anatomy

Individuals vary but it is normal to open your bowels from between three times a day, to three times a week. A normal stool is soft and easy to pass (type 3 or 4 on the diagram below).

It is useful to think of bowel management in three parts: making your stool type normal, making lifestyle changes and normalising the activity of the anal sphincter.
