Clinic Location

The Brighton Diagnostic and Treatment Centre is located within the American Express Community Stadium, to the north-east of Brighton near the University of Sussex campus. The stadium lies just south of the A27. Take exit B2123. Turn into Village Way, and take the 1st right where you will find a manned barrier. State you are attending an appointment at the Brighton Diagnostic and Treatment Centre and you will be directed to the car park.

The Brighton Diagnostic and Treatment Centre is located directly next to the east reception. Please look for our ‘Medical Imaging Partnership’ swing boards which are located at both ends of the east stand and directly outside the Centre.

Mobility Access
There is free parking available on site with disabled bays. If you have limited mobility, please let the gate staff know. They will be able to give you access to drive to the entrance for drop off only. If you are arriving by public transport, there is also a buggy which can be utilised for those with mobility issues, please let us know before your appointment if this will be required. There is level access into the building and disabled toilets are available on site.

Parking
There is a free parking available on site with disabled bays. The Brighton Diagnostic and Treatment Centre is a short walk away on the East Stand, stadium maps will direct you towards the East Stand. The pin on the above map highlights our exact location.

Public Transport

The Amex can be reached by train. Falmer Rail Station lies adjacent to the stadium. Trains from Brighton Rail Station are roughly a 10-minute journey. There is a ramp for mobility issues, and stairs to get to the stadium. When you reach the stadium, walk towards the East Stand where you will see the Brighton Diagnostic and Treatment Centre.

Clinic Location

The surgery is opposite Preston Park on Preston Road, a little way up from the travel lodge if travelling out of Brighton. There is a pharmacy on the ground floor. If your appointment is at either surgery, please check in at the ground floor reception and make your way to the floor indicated by your appointment letter.

Mobility Access

There is level access to the building and lift for all floors. There are at least two disabled toilets on each floor.

Parking

There is a small car park which is free of charge – although you will need to enter your registration on a display in the reception area. 3 disabled bays are also available in the car park. Off street parking is very restricted. Pay & Display parking can be found on the other side of Preston Park.

Public Transport

London Road train station is nearby. The 5, 5A, 17, 40, 270, 271 and 273 buses stop outside the surgery at “Nestor Court” on Preston Road and also across the road. Clinic Location

The hospital is next to Freshfield Road, between Elm Grove and Pankhurst Avenue. If you follow Elm Grove off Lewes Road the hospital will come up on the right.

Mobility Access

The Foot and Ankle clinic will be held in a ground floor consulting room in the Foot Health department in Arundel building. If you require wheelchair access, please inform us in advance on 0300 303 8063, so that a ramp can be laid to the entrance.

Parking

The car park is often full by 9am. Some free parking is available on Elm Grove & Pankhurst Avenue. Pankhurst Avenue is the best choice if you have any mobility issues.

Public Transport

Local bus services stop outside the front, rear and side of the hospital (routes 2, 2A, 21, 22, 37, 37B and 84). The number 2, 2A and 21 all stop on level ground and close to the hospital. There is ground floor access to the entrance of the building and ground floor consulting rooms, however please be aware that the surgery does not have a disabled toilet. If you need to change the location please call our patient care advisors on 0300 303 8063.

Parking

Langley Corner Surgery do offer parking for patients at the surgery, including disabled bays, however during busy times they ask that patients use either the main road, or the car park in Rusper Road. They politely ask that as a courtesy to residents you do not park in Langley Lane.

Public Transport

The closest mainline station is Ifield, located about half a mile away. There is also a bus stop situated within 150metres of the venue where the number 2 bus stops from the K2 leisure Centre, Tilgate and Crawley, this runs every 10 minutes.

We are located within the grounds of the Sussex Cricket Club along Eaton Road in Hove, East Sussex.  Enter the cricket ground at the main entrance on Eaton Road (by The Cricketers pub). Once inside the grounds turn right at the junction and follow the signs to Radius Healthcare.

The surgery has ground floor access and lifts to accommodate all levels. Disbaled toilets are also available.

Parking

Pay and display parking is available by the clinic (£1 for two hours). Please note that parking may be limited on match days.

Public Transport

Pay-and-display car parking is available on site however this is over-subscribed and long waits are common. There is limited short-term on-street pay-and-display parking in the vicinity of the hospital, however we recommend that you use public transport if at all possible.

Clinic Location

The surgery is to the east of Saltdean Park on Longridge Avenue between Crowborough Road and Suez Way. The postcode does not work on Sat Nav. It is the biggest building on Longridge Avenue and is quite recognisable as it used to be a 1920’s hotel. Metal sculptures of musicians and dancers are just outside the entrance to the surgery. The entrance to the grand ocean medical centre is on Longridge Avenue to the side of the grand ocean building.

Parking Off street parking is available and disabled bays are available which is free of charge.

The MSK Service is located on the second floor of the Sidney West Primary Care Centre. As you enter through the main glass doors, on your left you will find a set of doors for the elevator and stairs to the second floor. Please note the GP surgery on the ground floor is not part of the MSK Service. The Primary Care Centre lies on Leylands Road just off B2036.

Public Transport

The Sidney West Centre is within half a mile of Wivelsfield Railway Station, and just under a mile from Burgess Hill Railway Station.

Taxis are available from Burgess Hill station, and local bus services operate as follows:

From Wivelsfield Station – Bus 33 (operated by Countryliner Coach Hire Ltd) departs from outside the station – direction ‘Hurstpierpoint, Willow Way’. The nearest bus stop is outside The Windmill public house - continue to walk along Leylands Road to the Sidney West Centre (approx. 5-10 minutes).

From Burgess Hill Station – Turn left outside the station and walk down the hill to Church Road (approx. 5 minutes). Bus 34 (operated by Countryliner Coach Hire Ltd) departs from outside the shops – direction ‘Burgess Hill, Church Road’, and stops directly outside the Sidney West Centre.
